Question:

You're in Texas and I'm in X, how can you develop my dealer's web site?

Answer:

The majority of the work we do is not geographically specific.  The only thing we absolutely have to have from your dealership is a digital image of your facility. This can be taken by a dealership employee and e-mailed to us.

Question:

How can I approve or revise your site from a distance?

Answer:

All sites are based on an approved site plan.  This plan acts as a blue print for the development.  During the site building process, the web site is posted to a secure interim web site for your review.

Answer:

As often as you'd like.  But we generally find that 3x per week is adequate for most dealerships.

Question:

How do you get my inventory from my existing inventory system?

Answer:

Generally speaking, your system administrator will supply us with limited access to the report generator section of your inventory system.  We will create a series of reports, usually between 2-5 separate reports that become the basis of your online inventory system.

Question:

How accurate will my online inventory be?

Answer:

This is a truly "Garbage In/Garbage Out" situation.  If the information in your existing inventory system isn't accurate, then the inventory we pull will not be accurate.

Question:

How long will you be on my system to pull the necessary reports?

Answer:

That depends on two factors:  The size of your inventory and the brand of inventory system you use.  Some systems take less than 30 minutes while others take over an hour for each download.

Question:

How will you get photos of my new/used vehicles?

Answer:

For new cars, we use "stock" photos or illustrations of the models and colors.  For used cars, we can either pull images of your inventory from a 3rd party site like GetAuto.Com, have a dealership employee shoot pictures and e-mail them to us, or if you are located nearby and with your cooperation, we can shoot them.

Question:

How long will it take to get my new site up?

Answer:

That depends on the size and complexity of the site we design for your dealership.  But typical delivery times are between 4-6 weeks to develop the average dealer web site.  Of course we've also created web sites in shorter and longer time frames.

Again, it depends on the size and complexity of the final approved web site for your dealership.  The typical dealer web site with searchable inventory is 25-35 pages, and the average cost per page runs between $300 to $350 per page.
